Normally I’m not one for small talk and I’m not one of those who typically asks others about the weather, however, the weather is pretty crazy right now! We have multiple hurricanes out there, one that has already hit land, earthquakes, possible tsunamis, and fires all over. It’s easy to be wondering,“What in the world is going on right now?!” It’s also easy to go into fear and worry when you look at what’s going on. I have friends in Texas where Harvey hit and friends in Florida where Irma is about to hit. I could be worried about them but I am choosing to take it up in prayer and cover my loved ones and all those that are in the affected areas. Soon I will be heading to Cambodia to do the same.
On the 20th of this month is Operation Prayer Strike Cambodia. People from multiple nations will be gathering to pray over the land and the people of Cambodia believing the God of creation, our heavenly Father will bring restoration and transformation to this beautiful nation. Just as people are coming together for Cambodia, I want to encourage us to come together and take on a prayer strike for all those affected by the hurricanes, earthquakes, and fires right now. Let’s lift them up in our prayers and to those that can go, go! Go to those affected and do what you can to show they are loved and cared for. When things look dark and gloomy WE get to bring light! We get to manifest the great love of Jesus towards others. Love! It is who you are! So let’s pray!
Father, we come to you knowing that you are good and faithful. We are standing in for those that have been affected by the storms, earthquakes, and fires and asking you to come in and comfort them right now. We ask for healing and restoration to come to each one of them. We decree your goodness will be seen by them in Jesus name!
For those that are expecting to be affected by the fires, earthquakes, hurricanes and other weather that is threatening them we speak to the weather and fires and say PEACE. Be still. We decree in the name of Jesus they will be safe and unharmed! We say thank you for your loving goodness and know that you make all things good for those that believe. Everything meant for bad will be brought to good in your mighty name, Jesus. Thank you that Your glory will be revealed. Amen!
Thank you for standing in prayer and loving the world around you. I decree blessing, peace, joy, strength, love, and grace over each one of you right now in the name of Jesus!
And for those going to Operation Prayer Strike Cambodia, I look forward to seeing you there!
Much love and many blessings on this day that the Lord has made that we get to rejoice and be glad in!
